So, what things are education records?

A typical CUA student creates many education records during her time here.  Jane Doe is recruited to CUA as a transfer student to complete a B.A. in Education.  Though she has a small diocesan award to cover room and board, she has a work-study job in the English Department to make ends meet.  For her disclosed learning disability, she gets some tutoring in the ATLAS program, but it doesn’t interfere with her participation on the volleyball team or in Habitat for Humanity.   An editorial she wrote in the Tower about what she learned as the subject of a minor disciplinary charge was considered so incisive it was reprinted in The CUA Magazine and sent to her hometown paper. 

There are many education records on Jane, probably found in nearly 20 offices:  Admissions; authors of recruitment letters; Education; Arts & Sciences; Registrar; Student Accounts; Diocesan Relations; Resident Life; Financial Aid; Payroll; English; Disability Support Services; Counseling Center; Athletics; Campus Ministry; Campus Programs; Dean of Students; Public Affairs; and Career Services.
