The Copeland Anti-Kickback Act

 

40 U.S.C. § 276c; 29 C.F.R. § 3.1 et seq.

 

Requires contractors and subcontractors on public buildings or works financed by loans or grants from the U.S. to furnish a weekly statement of wages paid.  Purpose is to deter kickback practices by contractors.
