Federal Pell Grant Program

 

20 U.S.C. § 1070a; 34 C.F.R. § 690.1 et seq.

Provides grants to eligible undergraduate students who have not received degrees to help meet the costs of college.  Students may not receive Federal Pell Grant funds from more than one school at a time.


President Obama (March 2009) has proposed expanding Pell Grants for Low Income Students.
